History
Princess Lilies® is a series of plants belonging to the Alstroemeria family. This plant originates from Brazil and the Andes in Chili. In the 18th century the Swedish researcher Clas Alstroemer brought this plant back to Europe and from 1950 onwards the production of cutting-Alstroemeria started gradually in Europe. Meanwhile the cutting-Alstroemeria has become well known for its long flowering time and its large variation in available colours.
